Woman charged with using employer’s debit card for personal use

A woman has been charged for using her employer’s debit card to buy personal items.

45-year old Tracy Schone faces a felony charge of unauthorized use of an entity’s identity, information or document. She was released on a $500 signature bond on Tuesday. She is accused of using the the debit card of her employer, Nevin’s Flooring in Menomonie, to buy over 2-thousand dollars in personal items.

According to the criminal complaint, Menomonie police received a report on November 16th that Schone used Nevin’s Flooring’s debit card between October and November for personal use. She was fired from her clerical and bookkeeping job there in mid-November, where she had been working since July. Schone’s next court appearance is May 9th.
