Man going to jail for a year for drunk driving convictions

An Altoona man will go to jail for a year for his 4th and 5th drunk driving convictions.

39-year old Daniel Glair pleaded no contest in Eau Claire County Court recently to felony counts of 4th-offense drunk driving within 5 years, and 5th-offense drunk driving. He was also put on 3 years probation, fined over $5,000, and had his license revoked for 3 years.

According to court records, Glair was arrested for 5th offense drunk driving in July after he arrived at his home. He was previously convicted of drunk driving in November 2009, and in June and July 2016, all in Eau County.
